Yea, someone said that to me on Saturday. Way to kill my self-confidence, Mr. huge-belly-pretzel-cone-making-man.
Most days I just feel huge. But today, I feel pregnant. I have no idea if it was from my cleaning spree this weekend or if it's just because I am, in fact, extremely pregnant. I woke up this morning more tired then before I went to bed, aching back, pain in my hips, baby doing flips, headache, grumpy as hell, and craving chocolate milk. Usually on any given day I only have two of those symptoms...not all at once. :(
It doesn't help that I have been nesting like crazy. I've been scrubbing walls and sorting laundry. I finally got my dresser and I want to do laundry so bad. I started scrubbing Boo's walls. (They were stained from all the cigarette smoke....ew.) On Saturday I painted the doors in the nursery. And now I want to just put everything away. Plus I need to clean our room, but that's a fruitless task. Everyday hurricane Greg comes through and messes up all of my progress. Ughh men.
I made Greg work all weekend. We needed to make repairs to the apartment for inspection in January. So this weekend Greg and Billy painted the downstairs middle room, lay down flooring, and put up ceiling tiles. Yes, it was a lot of work, but it was just one room except for the ceiling tile (that needed done in 2 rooms downstairs.) And I spent all weekend working on the nursery. But of course, Greg is so tired and worn out and grateful that "my job is done." Excuse me? No, no, no. There is about a million more things that still needs done. So sorry for you! I guess you should have done the work weeks ago, before it got too bad.
I wish Greg would catch my cleaning bug. But atlas, nope, men don't get pregnant.
Blahh.
Time is still moving so fast. It feels like little man can come at any time (and in reality, he can...since at 35 weeks they don't stop labor at my hospital.) and I'm just not ready for him yet. I'm blowing up my dad's phone about the changing table. And I finally got Greg to start saving! (I don't care if I actually had to give him and allowance. It got the job done.) He spends way too much on just whatever he wants. He doesn't realize that babies are expensive, and diapers don't grow on trees.
I suppose I'm just so excited to get everything done. I'm hoping that by the end of the first week in August I'll have the nursery completely done; furniture and laundry too. That puts me at about 2 weeks. Which puts me at about full term. (sort of) So I'll be all set for baby Boo. And then all I have to do is wait for me to use the room. :D
T-minus 42 days until my due date...21 days until full term.
No wonder I feel so pregnant today.
Until Next Time:
