Yuppp that's pretty much how the past 4 days were for me. Saturday, as you already know I came down with a stomach bug that's been going around here. Sunday I felt better, and I went shopping! (Momma needed some new, CUTE clothes) I got my first pair of maternity jeans, as well as a few shirts and a great fitting bra. (HELLO 44E!!!) Greg got some more fishing stuff. (Which he doesn't need but it's the only thing he's spending his income tax on instead of a headstart on bills) Sunday, I fet amazing. Just a little nausea...but meh...it was alright.
Monday though, completely. different. story.
Woke up super early after going to be super late. And I got sick. When I say sick...I mean...SICKLY sick. This whole process of me trying to get out of the blankets and running out of the room to go to the bathroom while holding everything down that was coming up faster that I could run; woke Greg up. While I was in the shower; Greg did my laundry, and went to Giants. That boy kinda loves me. :D He got me all the things I would need for a day in bed with a stomach bug: Soup, gatorade, crackers and really trashy gossip mags.
Unfortunately it wasn't enough. Before Greg could come home I was so dehydrated that I couldn't keep anything down nor could I pee. (TMI I know) I was getting dizzy and I started feeling really tired. So, we went to the hospital just in case. Thank God I did. They had to give me 2 bags of IV fluids because I was apparently that dehydrated. Plus a medicine to help the nausea. And they also found that I had a mild UTI...which is supposedly common in pregnant women.
They also did an ultrasound. :D
Sorry it's not the best quality..but we were so excited to show it off. That's our baby! *stiffles a happy yell* Although the tech told us she couldn't tell us what it was...she did say to think pink. I guess we'll have to try again if it is a girl...momma still wants her boy. The baby was unaffected by my not eating/ not drinking. We have a doctor's appointment today and I'll ask about how the baby is doing. But so far, so good.
Him and I make cute babies. Even if it looks a little like an alien.
I guess I should say something about the belly cast in my title line. While we were at Motherhood Maternity, the sales girl talked Greg into wanting a belly cast done. I didn't want to do one because I think they are a waste of space, time and effort. But daddy seems like he wants to go through with it. And honestly, if he wants it that bad...why not. It would be a nice reminder of what my belly looked like.
I will post a little more tomorrow. We need to take belly pics, and that will be done tonight. And I will also let you all know how my appointment goes.
Until Next Time:

Look at my beautiful little niece (YES!) in there! I'm trying not to cry, as we speak!
I love you, love HER, and Greg's not bad either lmao! :)
Well, the women doing the ultrasound didn't say for sure...but baby boo has had been consistanly referred as "her" at the doctor's office. Only time will tell...on April 10th.
P.s. You're not the only one who cried. Greg was a big ol baby for about 30 minutes.
